Tattoos on Wood

Earlier this summer i stumbled upon a 9gag,...gag, about DIY stuff, if i do find it later on i'll post it all the same, but one of those projects showed how to transfer images onto anything via 'Gel Medium'. Suffice it to say, I was immensely impressed and decided to use the technique for my own personal use and experimentation, youtubing a couple of links and finally finding a close enough substitute to the matte gel medium mentioned in most videos i started applying and waiting.

With Varying results........

Vinyl at Last!

Trying to think of different blog posts and what not. Mainly since ive got a bunch of comics i really want to talk about and a few graphic novels on the side, I don't want to drop any names as to who they're by (Neil Gaiman & Alice Cooper ) but theres a whole lot of scanning involved, hmm.

In other news managed to find a VERY nice and  still working turntable from the flea market section of Sunday Bazaar. Something i've wanted for the longest time.

The Art of Batman: Year One

I think i've been delaying this blog for the longest time. Even though I procrastinate a lot, this has to be the height of it. I had the idea for this blog post ever since I found the book at a bazaar by chance. Mazzucchelli's art just blew me away. Its brilliant, concise, well illustrated with great foundation and design sense. Frankly its one of the most beautiful books i've ever seen. I'm going to concentrate totally on Mazzucchelli's work and maybe talk about Miller's story some other time.

Second Post

The post's title says it all. it short, apt, concise, to the point. It also shows that i have absolutely no idea
what to write about. while i do have ONE project which shows some semblance of processed thought, but
that too is waiting in a folder somewhere, ready to be reheated in photoshop. so until then all ihave to offer
is this photo here:
can you feel the grunge and nostalgia?

no i dont do product photography. this was a spur of the moment thing.
